Has crypto ever caused you personal problems?

Personally I had a bad experience with a family member that wanted to buy bitcoin in 2017 at about $12.5K just before it went down the toilet less than a week after. He had asked me to help him buy the BTC and I did but when it dropped like hell it was suddenly my fault for dragging him "into this mess". I advised him to hodl and he eventually sold at about $20K making a profit. Today I won't help any close family or friends with crypto as I found out the hard way how much trouble money can cause even for just helping out.
