There is an art-squat in Paris called 59 Rivoli that houses permanent and temporary artists. I decided I wanted a piece of expensive art, so I went to the local Art squat. I found a piece I wanted (there was originally another piece I wanted the day before and I went home to sleep on it. I literally dreamed about some other art I saw at the place but when I went back I was still dead set on the original art. I found it and realized I didn't like it, then went to this art and it was what I wanted). I picked it out and asked the artist if he would take Bitcoin. He looked at my confusedly and called his art dealer and put me on the phone with him. I talked to him about Bitcoin briefly and he said he'd call me back. He called me later that night and said if I help him set up a wallet, he would happily take Bitcoin. We negotiated a price, I helped him set up an Electrum wallet, and he shipped the painting back Stateside, and it currently resides on my lovely brick wall. Here is a picture of the painting:

Inconscience by Serge Lefox

The painting is by Serge Lefox and the piece is called "Inconscience". I'm a big fan of it, and I'm even a bigger fan because I explained to someone what Bitcoin was and I then bought something from him with it.
