Bought ethereum in Kovan Test Network by accident. How can I transfer it either to Ethereum Main Network?

Hello! I’m a complete begginer on the crypto space, so please bear with me…

I accidentally bought some eth in the Kovan Teat Network. Is there any way I can recover this money? Either the eth, the equivalent USD amount… anything?

If it helps, I wanted to purchase HOGE with this Ethereum.
