Some explaination to a newbie pls.

Hi guys, I just started mining RVN, so I'm not sure how it works, but I'm mining on 2miners pool with teamred with a 5600XT @ 20MH/s and I only get about 14 shares per hour, while reading thru some posts in here saying they get about 2 shares per min, so is mine considered very low? Although when I check on whattomine, it says based on 20MH/s I should be getting about 0.8 RVN per hour, in which I checked my wallet on 2miner, I'm getting about 0.7-0.8 RVN per hour. So in that sense am I correct to assume the amount of shares doesn't matter? Also my hashrate in 2miners fluctuates between 4-38MH/S every now and then.
