Ethminer update?

So I keep reading that an update is coming out tomorrow that will require our mining software to be updated. I checked Github for an update to Ethminer but that last version available for download is dated 2019? Am I missing something? Is Ethminer dead or did they move to another hosting site? I tried googling it but nothing jumping out at me…
