Don’t let PoW haters bring up the environment argument on you.
If you're struggling to win an argument when someone says PoS is better because it's more environmentally friendly, then feel free to show them some of this:
The above user did a lot of research on energy usage studies and the information is out there to show someone how green PoW mining can be and it helps to illustrate how other activities waste electricity and are never brought up as energy waste (gaming consoles etc.)

Don't believe the bad things people say about PoW. Fight back with facts. PoW mining can be very environmental friendly and renewable. Local governments and districts supplying electricity should take steps to provider greener energy as well as the end user.
