IRS planning to push April 15th U.S. tax deadline to May 17th to the great relief of DeFi users

Hey guys, founder of cryptotaxcalculator.io here. Got some particularly exciting news for US DeFi users. Rumour has it the IRS is going to push the tax deadline back to May 17th this year.

This is welcomed news, especially since the IRS delayed the start of the filing period to February 12th. The shorter than usual period has been causing a lot of stress for users. Even with tools like ours, getting everything set up can still be a time sink, particularly if you have been doing DeFi over the past year and have not been keeping your records up to date. Hopefully the IRS pulls through and gives everyone a bit of a break.
