Is it safe to manually adjust prices?

In btc I can adjust fee to like 20sats and it will still go through although it will take like 3-5 days. Does the same happen with eth? I have a gas fee of $120 on a $100 send and I am thinking of adjusting the gas to like 20 GWEI($14), will it still go through and just take longer?
