Could ETH just not implement a private wallet address tied to the main public wallet? For instance you have an option to send via public address or send through a randomized one time use address similar to Litecoin. The 12 word seed phrase that I used to "recover" my ETH wallet in Metamask was originally generated using the BlueWallet app for BTC.
