Reminder to back up your vault before Reddit kills Access at the end of the year.

For lots of members of r/cryptocurrency your vault was likely your first steps into DEFI. For those with MOONs who never wrote down their seed phrase or never got your vault off Reddit. You need to make sure you back up your wallet before Reddit kills access and you burn any tokens that you might be holding. Were you active on r/CryptoCurrency before October 17th 2023. If yes continue to steps below, If no you don't have Moons in your vault you can ignore this. Not sure if you have Moons in your vault heres what you need to do: Step 1: Access your vault – by clicking on your profile picture and then scrolling down to vault on Iphone and the old android app On the newest android app click on resources – If you do not see the vault icon it means you do not have any "NFTs" on Reddit, as such you most likely don't have any Moons. Reddit was giving away free NFTs while they were doing Moon distributions so if you don't see the vault you most likely do not have any Moons. — Step 2: Once you click on the vault, click the setting Icon After you click the setting Icon you can see your public address. Next copy your public address (the 0x characters) into the following url: If you have Moons you'll see something like this under token holdings: If you do not have any Moons you won't have anything under Token Holdings. Assuming you have Moons you now need to go back to this settings page of the vault and reveal and write down your recovery phrase. This 12 word "seed phrase" is how you can access your "Reddit Vault" on a different device outside of Reddit. You can get Arbitrum Nova and Moons on Metamask by following the below steps: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/112ax9k/comment/j8j1b65 You don't have to get access to your Moons right away but you do need to write down and secure your seed phrase somewhere if you haven't already done it. Once Reddit kills the vault you will not be able to access your seed phrase and thereby Moons ever again unless you have your vault backed up elsewhere. submitted by /u/GabeSter |
