Bitcoin Standard

New to crypto but DCAing 75% BTC and 25% ETH. Read The Bitcoin Standard and the author has a dim view of ETH. I know it's a book from 2018 but thoughts on the authors viewpoint? Any ofher suggestions for books or other reading material for a newbie? What about podcasts that are decent and legitimate? I'm am.concise with my question but the mods require 500 character minimum to post. What other advice about crypto or places I should be looking to educate myself. Not looking to day trade or junk coins.
