Best Wallets for Rewards?

I’ve accumulated enough crypto to start considering a more secure form of storage and ownership of my assets. Not a whale but enough to hurt if it’s lost, currently on standard Coinbase app. Pretty new to the whole wallet scene, confused on where to start looking. I’ll lay out what I’m looking for below and if something matches all or most I guess let me know. Or sell me on whatever wallet you’re using. Apologies in advance if some of my expectations aren’t realistic for what’s out there right now.

-I keep seeing comments here about Coinbase wiping accounts with no explanation. I’ve turned on all 2fA and whitelisting but it still bothers me that’s happened. It’s my understanding that wallets create a sort of copy of what you own, regardless of which wallet you use? Obviously cold is most secure but are there any good hot ones? Any explanation on this would be appreciated.

-I stake on CB but only able to do one coin. I plan on holding what I own for the foreseeable future outside of emergencies. Anything out there that offered higher stake percentage or more options to stake with? Is staking even worth it?

-I like the idea of physical keys, kinda like Tangem’s idea with the ring. Problem is I lose stuff a lot. Keys daily, glasses, even lost my first wedding ring. If one of my physical keys is found, is that wallet forever compromised? Would I have to establish a new wallet or would everything associated with my name be watched from there on out?

-I would like the ability to “quickly” sell. Buying would also be nice but don’t mind doing transfers. I’m not too sure how some wallets work, but would like to avoid the hassle of having to transfer stuff back out in order to sell if at all possible.

-A nice UI is always appreciated. CB is easy enough to understand what’s going on with my stuff, so anything like that would be fine. Not a day trader but do enjoy watching the charts every now and then. More so focused on security though. Can sacrifice a UI for better security features or other things listed here and just watch my shows on CB.
