EIP-7928 is now confirmed as the second headliner for Ethereum’s upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade.

What is EIP-7928?
This execution-layer proposal adds three key technical elements directly into the body of Ethereum blocks and is designed to give the network a serious performance boost:
• Block Access List (BAL): a full record of all addresses and storage slots touched by the block’s transactions.
• Transaction indices: pinpointing the exact position of each transaction within the block.
• Post-execution values: the final changes each transaction makes to Ethereum’s global state.
How Glamsterdam is coming together:
Last week, developers at the All Core Devs – Consensus (ACDC) #162 confirmed EIP-7732 (Enshrined Proposer-Builder Separation) as the first headliner.
Now, with BALs on board, Glamsterdam is shaping up to be one of Ethereum’s most exciting upgrades yet.
What will be next?
• FOCIL (EIP-7805) is still under consideration and could become the third headliner, as discussed on the All Core Developers Execution (ACDE) Call #218.
• Six-second slots (EIP-7782), however, have been rejected for this fork.
What do you think about this, guys?
