Where should I buy crypto with low fees?

Greetings everyone,

I'm still sort of new to crypto, only have been using Exodus for 2 years. Never really bought crypto directly from any site like moonpay because they are just so expensive imo… The only reason I have crypto is from selling some things that eventually added up to 500 bucks or so.

Didn't want to just leave it there and decided to buy something but I needed an extra 100 bucks, I was allowed to use PayPal but they'd ask a 15% additional fee, heck no. Luckily my friend could exchange for free for a one time thing.

Now, I wish I could just find a good, cheap, secure and fast place to buy and sell crypto. I'm not the kind of person that invests (yet), I just buy what I need and sell whenever I sold something and I want to do it quick and cheap.

I could just sign up on every platform and try them out, but I hate giving out my info like that due to bad experiences. Wherever I can use a fake name, address or email – I am doing so. But yeah, don't have to try that on crypto platforms.

I did some digging on this subreddit and trustpilot and these are all the downsides I could find:
Mind you, these are like the top 10 most used websites but I don't think I should be calling names.

  1. High and hidden fees
  2. They list a crypto with a different value than it actually is, meaning you get less
  3. Takes hours to days to transfer funds to account or other way around
  4. They lock buying/selling when there are peaks or it's weekend
  5. Bad customer support or only using AI when you need to talk to a person, doesnt respond to tickets and your crypto just keeps going down and down and down….
  6. Randomly closing your account and decisions are final without explanation, such as:
    1. Registering new account and providing documents, thanks for your info – cheers!
    2. The moment you deposit (somewhat big) funds
    3. You send crypto to a friend that doest use the same service
    4. Even after using it for years, you still randomly get locked

What should I believe??? I feel like none can be fully trusted and will take your money :/
