Futures and spot trading

Which one of the two do you guys prefer and for what reasons, Spot has always been the safest for me and I prefer it during the bull markets but again the profits are minimal as compared to futures.

For futures, I prefer it on bear markets and of which definitely I have my own strategies but futures gets to be more risky.

I'm not new in this and I'm not asking for any advice, just want to here views from other traders

What do you guys prefer and which other ways do you earn from crypto except Hodler airdrops and the two??
