Ravencore transaction fee policy

Hey guys so I'm starting to use ravencore as my choice of wallet for ravencoin but I noticed that transaction fee depends on the wallet activity. Wouldnt that mean it would be bad for me to mine directly to the wallet? Should I mine to an exchange then transfer it to my ravencore wallet. Or anyone has a better alternative than ravencore?
