[Serious] Binance account funded with stolen card

Hi everyone, this is my first post in this community.

Here's the situation I'm involved right now:

I'm argentinian and I work for a company in the US, where I have some people in charge. One of the employees (also in Argentina) was laid off, and apparently this guy had a picture of the company's credit card. He had no better idea after being fired that funding a Binance account using that card. I don't know the details, but apparently he spent about 10k in doing that (we actually don't have any proof he did that, we only have the credit card's transaction history, but he blocked my boss after that event and it's MIA for the last couple days, so it's fair to suspect he did it).

Now (since I'm also in Argentina) my boss kinda wants me to take the lead on how to move forward with this issue, and I don't know wtf to do. I told him to call Visa in the US and disacknowledge those charges. My personal credit card info was stolen earlier this year and some purchases were made, and I did that and basically I didn't have to pay those charges.

My question: is there anything else we can do? Is there a way to know specifically which Binance account was funded using that card so we can have proof he did it? My boss wants to take legal actions. My first impression about this was that if we involve lawyers or stuff like that is going to be REALLY expensive since that card was emmitted in the US and it's probably not worth it. 10k is a lot of money, but it doesn't make a big impact on us, so IDK how we should move forward.

Thanks for reading, and lmk if I can provide more information that would be helpful. I'm actually having a meeting with my boss next week since he is travelling, this is all I know rn.
