The hidden side of ETH trading: Are we missing out on community?

Long-time trader here with something that's been bugging me lately. We're all about decentralization, right? But our trading experience feels anything but.

Think about it – where does the real action happen? Not on DEXs, but in private Discord servers, exclusive Telegram groups, and influencer DMs. It's like there's this whole secret layer of the Ethereum ecosystem that most of us can't access.

I've lost count of how many times I've made a trade based on public info, only to find out later that some private group knew about it hours before. It's frustrating to say the least.

And let's talk about our daily trading routine. Am I the only one with 20+ tabs open at all times? Chart here, chat over there, Twitter for news, Etherscan for contracts… It's a mess.

I miss the early days when trading felt more communal. Now it's like we're all isolated in our own little bubbles, missing out on the collective wisdom and energy that made this space so exciting.

Lately, I've been wondering: Is this just how it is now? Or is there a way to bring back that community feel without sacrificing the benefits of modern trading tools?

After months of mulling this over, I felt someone needed to bring the "chat" and the "chart" closer together, all while maximizing for fun which dextools or a dexscreener do not do. So I built degengen – it's my attempt to bring trading and community closer together. Would love to hear what you all think about it.

But more importantly, I'm curious:

How do you all handle this? Have you found ways to stay connected to the community while trading? Or any tools that help bridge this gap?
