Shib BEP20 to ERC20 Question.

A few years back I had split my SHIB into 2 different wallets. Half in Trustwallet and the other half in MetaMask. My coins in MetaMask are on the BEP20 network. I would like to transfer them to my Trustwallet to ERC20. I've read that I would need to transfer to Binance first then to Trustwallet. I am in Canada and not sure if I can use Binance for this. Is this the way? Is there an easier way? Please explain like I'm 5. Lol Bought coins years back and never dabbled too much in crypto since. Not nearly as seasoned as you guys. Thx
