Buy now or after bitcoin halving?

Fairly new to the crypto game. I understand very well the importance of DCA, but I do want to optimize entry price. I think Etherium is a great investment. All my research told me realistically it doesn’t matter when to buy as it will go up no matter what. The only thing I’m afraid of is the bitcoin halving, do yall expect the price of ETH to go down with bitcoin? If so, should I buy ETH once the bitcoin halving occurs?. OG’s, if you were in my place, new to the game, would you buy etherium now wait for the bitcoin halving to lower the price and then put a bag on it?
