Am I wasting chances?

I’ve been waiting for the price to correct for like a week and it’s still increasing. I am slightly new but I remember my first purchase in bitcoin was at 40K (it was sitting on that for a few days) so I bought and it immediately dipped to 30K.

I am afraid this would be the case for ETH… I would be repeating the same mistake. Though I feel like I wasted better chances.
