Does it make sense to save money in ETH?

More or less, I got a bit of money saved up and I'm looking to put it somewhere safe, or ideally with a marginal profit.

Of course, I wouldn't put my entire savings into ETH, but if there's a chance I could keep the worth with a bit of extra, I'll happily stake a decent portion of it.
