When I pictured the bear, I always thought it would be a thrill: dumps, anxiety, fear. We had some of that, for sure, with the LUNA capitulation and later the FTX collapse. We even saw a pump this year.

But most of the time, the bear market is just insanely boring, which surprised me. The price right now hovers around the exact same price it did a year ago. For the past 222 hours, we are moving within a $2k range of 6.66%.

The news narratives (in this subreddit) also just repeat themselves. We just saw:

  • Another key update in the XRP vs. SEC case
  • The 100th topic about Ledger
  • Another post about inflation in Argentina
  • Another post about how banks dont like crypto
  • More posts about scammers and scams

Even this subreddit is incredibly quiet. It reminds me of post FTX times. There's barely any topics and a post gets on the front page with 20 upvotes.

Do you agree that the bear market is most of all just really damn boring? And what do you do to battle the boredom?
