Which exchange to use anymore?

With news of Bittrex going bankrupt, Binance being a fraud, and countless exchanges being in legal troubles. I and many others I know am getting worried on which exchanges are safe, by safe I mean not going to shut down. I don’t find any major exchange to be very trustworthy, the only one I liked was binance and binance had too many issues for me to trust it. Is there any exchange out there, for mainly ethereum, that offers a safe way to deal cryptocurrencies without having to worry about waking up one day to find all your funds missing?

EDIT: Changed terminology, I didn’t mean binance shutdown but I meant binance was out of the picture of being safe for me. After countless incidents.
