Elon Musk floated the idea of charging DOGE to tweet, tweeted about charging DOGE to visit Twitter headquarters, then changed the Twitter bird to DOGE

Elon Musk had a treasure trove of messages released during the trial with Twitter regarding his trying to back out of the purchase.

In those messages, he talked about putting Twitter on the blockchain, banning all bots, and charging 0.1 DOGE to tweet or retweet.

“I have an idea for a blockchain social media system that does both payments and short text messages/links like twitter. You have to pay a tiny amount to register your message on the chain, which will cut out the vast majority of spam and bots. There is no throat to choke, so free speech is guaranteed.”
“My Plan B is a blockchain-based version of twitter, where the ‘tweets’ are embedded in the transaction of comments.”
“So you’d have to pay maybe 0.1 Doge per comment or repost of that comment.”

Fast forward many months and a dev involved with DOGE wants to visit the Twitter Headquarters, but it will cost him a few DOGE for the privilege.

Then Wall Street Bets Chairman has the "amazing" idea to change the Twitter bird to DOGE, and Elon Musk decides to follow through with it.

This shows that Elon Musk has not stopped thinking about promoting DOGE and uses for DOGE. I think charging DOGE to tweet would speed up the demise of Twitter, but Elon Musk and I often have different opinions of what a good idea is.
