I am already 2 years in crypto and yet every transaction is a thrill

Crypto transactions are really a scary thing.

I want to be safe, so what I do for every transaction is to…

  • check the whole address, not just the first 4 and last 4 words/digits, but also the middle part

  • check the gas, usually paying the medium gas costs

  • checking if the correct network is chosen

  • optional: entering memo and double check it

After I am sure everything is correct, I press "SEND".

Now starts the thrill, depending on which blockchain it is, seconds feel like minutes and minutes feel like hours.

I nervously refresh my wallet, eagerly awaiting the funds to arrive.

Restlessly moving my feet up and down until the transaction finally comes in.

If true adoption shall happen, crypto transactions should be less thrilling, but easier and less scary.
