What am I paying for?

I'm still getting my feet wet with Ethereum, and it's obvious I still have a lot to learn. But can someone, please, explain to me how this is not a scam? Why am I paying a transaction fee for simply verifying, and why is it almost 100% higher than what the actual transaction is? Why does anyone use ETH if they're only going to get rekt with expensive transaction fees? EDIT: Oh yea, I've also had this happen to me numerous times: https://www.publish0x.com/httpswwwpublish0xcomacesontop/ethereum-has-to-be-killed-xerkjoq submitted by /u/FairResponsibility01 |
