Opinions on mirror protocol, bittrexx and tokenised stocks

A few days back I asked a question related to tokenising stocks and most peoples opinions were that this carried a lot of merit and was probably the future.

After more research I found 2 earnest attempts including from bittrex (a centralised exchange) and the mirror protocol. Despite their presence neither seems to have taken off in the way anticipated.

What are your opinions on these 2 protocols (i.e. where they are in terms of lack of mainstream adoption) and the concept of tokenising stocks with regards to these protocols in general?
