Attorney needing help understanding blockchain technology
Hello! I'm an attorney trying to get up to speed on cryptocurrencies and NFTs. I can tell you all about the (basically non-existent) regulatory structure, but I'm finding myself limited not by my understanding of the law but by my lack of understanding of the technology.
I've reached a point in my reading that widely available resources are either too basic (e.g. the blockchain is like a ledger!) or too advanced (e.g. hey here's what the code looks like).
I'm trying to find someone who I could talk with for no more than 30-60 minutes to ask specific questions about consensus mechanisms, the non-fungible characteristics of NFTs, smart contracts, forks, etc. I'm happy to reciprocate by with answers to any tax questions or to compensate for your time.
Thanks!
