Ethereum PoW

Hello, I am pretty new to crypto/web 3. Got a question regarding Ethereum merge. After merge, a hard fork of Eth PoW appeared. Is there still miners on Eth PoW, or did they all switch to Ethereum classic? Also, is new functionality being developed on Eth PoW, or no new announcements yet? Thanks in advance 🙂
