All my coins are off exchanges as of today.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I had a crypto first today, and I thought it could bring the conversation up for some of the newcomers to crypto. As the title says, all of my coins are no longer on any kind of exchange. This includes my BTC from cashapp. I’m very happy about finally making it happen, and just wanted to share a friendly reminder to take your coins off of exchanges.

There’s a thread about someone losing 50ETH on Coinbase today via lockout (I hope you have luck getting it back, friend). Protect yourself from this!

We all should know the mantra by now:

“Not your keys, not your coins”

And hardware wallets are worth looking in to.
