If i have an existing ETH wallet in Metamask, and add the ETC network, do i still have full access to the same wallet in ETC?

I am talking about an ETH metamask wallet that was created after the fork. Sorry if it sounds a bit stupid, i just don't want to mess it up. I just want to create an ETC wallet and if i can keep the same address as the one in ETH is perfectly good with me.

What i am not sure is because the wallet address was created after the fork, will it be still valid for the ETC network?
