Need help for PhD thesis – NFTs on the blockchain

Hey pals,

I am working on my PhD thesis on taxation law of non-fungible tokens. Therefore I really need to understand, what a NFT really is and how I can follow their transaction history on the blockchain.

Yesterday for example I tried to follow the transaction history of Beeples "Everydays" on the blockchain. On OpenSea it shows a contract adress, a token ID and the transfers of the past. It also shows that "MetaKovan" purchased the NFT 2 years ago. Following his adress ( 0x8bB37fb0F0462bB3FC8995cf17721f8e4a399629) I downloaded a CSV of all the NFT transfers for this adress. But within the file I couldn't find neither the contract adress nor the token ID for the NFT. What am I doing wrong? Is there a useful guide for laymen like me?

Additionally, I would like to "see" how a NFT looks like on the blockchain and what it contains. Where I can find the code of a NFT?

I would really appreciate it if you could help me out here. Since I am not a programmer, it is hard to understand the blockchain data, although I am open for a detailed deep dive.
