Will layer 2s kill the TVL on ETH?
I'm still a "noob" in the crypto space but it's all started to click here in the last month. I would say im optimistic about layer 2 solutions as they can provide cheaper fees and can allow ETH developers to easily transition. What I still can not process is how they would actually be good for ETHs price/tokenomics. If more developers and people move their platforms/assets onto layer 2s wouldn't that take TVL away from ETH? And wouldn't that cause a lower staking reward? Or since layer 2s are built right onto ETH does their TVL cause ETHs TVL to go up? Can someone educate me/ make me look dumb?
