Q about ETH

Long story short, I have my suspicions about being conned. My “friend” supposedly sold some ETH Last Wednesday and he’s been “waiting for the money to come in” so he can pay me back….. He uses Metamask. And apparently the money has not yet been received on his end.

It was supposed to be “Friday the latest”, then “Monday probably” and now it’s just a waiting game.

I’m dumb as fuck I know. I don’t know the first thing about crypto. Could someone who is please let me know if I’m being played a fool?

I’ve been in hospital with vitamin b deficiency so I entrusted my finances to him. Any help would be must appreciated.
