Blackrock CEO says Bitcoin should be the primary payment network in the world
In an interview with Squawk on the Street yesterday Blackrock CEO Larry Fink, with $10 Trillion in assets under management, said that he believes crypto should be the primary retail payment system in the world, after he dealt with a situation in Europe recently.
After paying 3% on a recent suitcase purchase in Europe Larry Fink believes that the whole payment system can be made easier and things can be done quicker.
For the largest financial institution in the world to say this, is great news for crypto and potentially institutional adoption.
He also doesn't agree with the people that say crypto is only beneficial for money laundering.
