Difference between sharding and rollups
Obviously one is on L1 and the other occurs on L2s.
But both involve lumping batches of transactions together so the entire main net doesn't have to compute them, right?
Is sharding essentially confining validation to a subset of nodes rather than the entire network, where rollups outsource validation to another set of nodes on a different network entirely?
Just trying to understand the whole thing.
