Helium has revenues of $6.5k/month after $365M investment from A16Z

Unfortunately I can't post a nitter link, so I will try to sum up the original thread of Liron : Helium, often cited as one of the best examples of a Web3 use case, has received $365M of investment led by A16Z. Unfortunately, Helium's total revenue is now $6.5k/month : On Helium's subreddit, people have been increasingly vocal about poor returns. Meaning 20$/month when they were expecting $100/month. But even the $20/month is false, since most of it is just a subsidy from investment in growing the network, and speculation on the value of the HNT token. In the same time, the company behing Helium pays itself $300M a year. This is just a summary of the thread and I encourage you to read the original thread by Liron. This is a very good example of too good to be true ROI. submitted by /u/boucliertempete |
