Ethereum developers give estimated date for the merger

Yesterday, Thursday, July 14, a virtual meeting brought together those working with the Ethereum code. There, computer science specialist Tim Beiko suggested a tentative, but not definitive, roadmap for the merger.

It is estimated that motivated by fees and the growing use of DeFi and Exeno as crypto ecommerce, has increased this need.

On or before September 19, 2022, the merger of Ethereum and the definitive abandonment of mining, should have occurred. At least, that's the way it will be if the most recent developer call goes through.
