Help me understand please :-)

I have been in this Reddit group for a few months now. I really enjoy working with Ravencoin and the people within this group and the community as a whole.

Currently I’m strictly in the mining side of the algo, as I am more into infrastructure support mechanisms. I am really curious as to why, when discussions of mining Ravencoin, there is always some sort of muddying of the conversation and diversion to eth?

I make these statements for a few reasons.

1. This is a RVN group and discussions should be more focused on the overall atmosphere of what this group is about.
2. ETH and RVN are much different algos when it comes to mining and tweaking.
3. Discussion of other coins, when it comes to basically bashing of RVN doesn’t help this community. Hence, it interferes with real, solid discussions that will better the atmosphere/culture of the group and the overall forward movement of RVN.
4. I personally care less about the other coins (maybe a little bias)

I didn’t make this post to try to cause ripples with anyone in it, it’s more of a personal opinion, but it’s a RVN group and either discuss RVN or go somewhere else 🤷‍♂️

PS: I get it, most think there is more money in eth, but RVN sink or swim. ***If I am missing something please let me know.
