Issues Connecting Ledger Nano X to Electrum-raven
So, I'm a person who hates having to basically have a book full of seed phrases because of having to have so many different wallets, so I try to keep everything on my Ledger as much as possible.
I looked up Ravencoin's Ledger support and have Bitcoin and Ravencoin apps installed directly on the Ledger itself. Then next it says to use the Electrum-raven wallet to be able to connect to the Ledger hardware wallet, awesome. But upon trying to connect the Electrum-raven wallet to the Ledger is doesn't find the ledger unless I open the device in Live Ledger's Manager and then close out Live Ledger, or open the Ravencoin app on the Ledger and it shows once the Ravencoin app is closed. Obviously a bug. The last update for the wallet (at the time of writing this) was May 10th, 2020 which is almost a year ago. This issue was found, reported, and a Pull Request made for the proposed fix. The PR does fail the CI tests, but according to some comments on there are saying that the tests failing are unrelated. More tech-savvy or more python-savvy people were able to make these updates locally and run them and it fixed their issue.
I haven't bothered to attempt it but would like to store my RVN on my Ledger. I noticed there was a fork by TronBlack to the RavencoinFoundation GitHub that then had the same PR made and also merged, but no new binary release made to be able to download a DMG or EXE for that updated version.
Is there any news regarding this or was it abandoned? I just really hate that official docs say to use this and it hasn't been working for several months now. I support RVN and would hate to think that this might be deterring new users.

Edit: Some more digging has turned this up in the #ledger-electrum channel in the Offical Ravencoin Discord:
