is trust wallet controled by binance?

Beginner question here, does trust wallet dependent on binance? If binancy disappears or go bankrupt does that affect trustwallet at all? I Know hardware wallet are the most safe option but I don't have access to those, I would go for a paper wallet but I am also not sure what would be the safest way to do that how to securely generate it, so I am considering trust wallet unless someone knows a safe way to generate a paper wallet for long term storage? Any ideas?
