This is a perfect example of why you should always DCA
No one knows what's going to happen. Most people expected a dip after the fed announcement, but instead it seems that there was an over cautious drop beforehand and now that it's official the big players are breathing a sigh of relief that it was only 0.5% and we have a road map for future increases.
Tomorrow we could be right back where we were this morning or another 5% higher. DCA. Don't try to time the market, it doesn't work. Pick a day of the week, or a day of the month and invest consistently over time. Don't stress about dips or pumps, they're always going to happen. But if you're disciplined, you'll set yourself up for success.
