Can a DAO be used to purchase an NFL Team?

I'm assuming yes, but watching the draft made me wonder. Seems like this is a no-brainer for a way to manage team ownership. Am I oversimplifying this? If this is possible, would somebody mind telling me how this would work? Where are the tricky spots?
