How badly did I screw myself by mistyping one letter?

I’ll try and keep this short. Basically last week I was sending eth to a different wallet and forgot to capitalize one letter in the address before sending it on its merry way. I’ve mistyped an address before on coinbase but the funds bounced back after a month. This eth transfer was done on ledger. Will I ever see that crypto again or is it gone for good? I’m assuming it depends on if that address is an existing address or if it doesn’t exist.
