A lesson I learned the hard way: People never went broke for taking profits.

But they did because of greed while holding it so they can make more money.

How many of you never took any profit?

I didn't. And that is my mistake.

Had a couple of good runs, nothing special, but still good portion of money for life standard in my country. Had two coins going for x3, was waiting to go up even more. That was…not smart.

The worst part is, I sold at loss. Went to another project, another coin.

If you are curious: one of my failures to take profit was with VET. Great project, really interesting, to make a long story short I made x3 with it, kept holding it for more profit, now it is more then 6x down from its ATH.

The bad part is that I did it again.

The good part is I will not do it the for the third time. Next time I am taking profits.

In worst case scenario I will be in plus. I don't have to spend that money, I can use it to wait for a dip or stake it, while I can DCA with my regular schedule using my salary.
