Is the RVN/USDT pair safe?

I don't think "Tether" has their money backed by the US dollar 1 to 1, It seems that this front exchange/company "Bitfinex" can issue as much tethers as they please if their books are not audited properly. Are they still the main issuer of Tether?

Do the crypto community has the last audit that they actually have US 78BN in their bank accounts in Asia? IF they do why do they have a B "Developing Rating", it should be AAA+

It would be more trusted if they were issued by a US government entity or probably by the Fed (Ehm) or at least checked and audited by a US Firm. is Tether the new Fed?

They were hacked in 2016 and10,000+ BTC could not be recovered. Was this a new method to recover the lost money by selling tethers to retail who in turn give tether incorporation real USD.

Anyway, what is the impact on the RVN/USDT pair? Does it provide real liquidity. If not then Ravencoin network should not accept Tether in exchange for the valuable ravens.

What are your thoughts?
