What we miss about a lot of the anti-crypto hate

One of the key principles of Ethereum and other blockchains is that they are "opt in only" I.e., if you like it, use it, and if you don't like it, then just don't use it.
This is all well and good, but the problem with this now is 2 key negative externalities. The energy use of mining and the fact that gamers can't buy GPUs… again because of mining.
As long as those two things are here, there truly can't be any 'live and let live' situation.
It's hard to underestimate just how important the merge is. If you can, please fire up a node and validator on kintsugi. There are easy, step by step guides available. You don't need a separate computer, a VM will work just fine. Bandwidth and storage usage is minimal – you're not downloading the whole mainnet state.
