Withdrew USDC via BSC BEFORE I generate my USDC wallet on my Metamask, is it gone?

Hi,

As topic! Long story short, withdrew my usdc from exchange through Binance Smart Chain. Didn't generate the USDC sub-wallet on my MetaMask before sending the USDC, and obviously wallet address stay the same as they are both erc20 address.

Binance smart chain explorer shows the 512 USDC there, but it doesnt show on my wallet

Are they gone? How do I "claim" them back as I still control the wallet? First time dealing with cross chain transaction so i might got some of the terminology wrong, thanks in advance!
