More RVN with the same hashpower
Hey, so there is a lot of people, who mine with little to no hashpower and after recent halving, with their current electricity costs, it's no longer possible to mine RVN on a single GPU in their country with any benefits whatsoever …
I'm one of the guys who plan to HODL their investments and this is the critical part: "investments". You shouldn't invest into anything which will drop you initial value of invested money the moment you invest it 🙂 At least this is mine ideology.
So, the only way to gain some benefits and still gather few RVNs on the side is to mine something else, sell it and buy RVN. If you have low electricity costs and already have 300-400MH/s upwards, it may be easier just to mine pure RVN … besides, we all want to make this ecosystem bigger, so its for the better if bigger farms mine like they did pre halving. So, getting back to the topic of mining other coins and selling them, we have few options:
For people that have GPUs with >3GB VRAM
- Mine ETC, than wait for the price spike of ETC (and maybe price drop of RVN?) and finally convert it on binance or other market of your choice. If you do this in a good moment you will get best profits.
- Mine ETC on a pool with autoconvert feature and get your RVN like usual at a small loss, but even with it it's still much bigger gain than mining RVN directly. One of the sites that offer quite good service is UNMINEABLE.COM pool with their 1% fee, or 0.75% fee if you use a referral code (PS. if you could, please you this one: p1lr-3e49 – thanks!). Basically you mine on etchash, but get payed in RVN coin.
For GPUs with 4+ GB VRAM
- Mine ETH, than wait for the price spike of ETH (and maybe price drop of RVN?) and finally convert it on binance, or other market of your choice. If you do this in a good moment you will get best profits, much better than anything you could get when mining RVN directly.

Another big benefit to mine anything other than RVN is temps … if you ever mined ETH and converted to RVN at some point you will know what I mean 🙂
Thanks for attention and happy minning kaw kaw!
PS. If you know what you are doing, don't use their "miner", get a pure compilation of the newest T-rex or NBminer from their original repositories on GitHub for the best results and stability. As for the configuration for this specific use case, for each one there is a nice guide:
For the additional configuration, as always it's best to use the github guidlines on each mining software site.
